Jimmy Howard records first shutout of season

Jimmy Howard made 33 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Detroit Red Wings snapped a season-high, five-game losing streak with a 4-0 victory over the Nashville Predators Saturday night.
Howard has been struggling lately and took a 3-2 loss to the lowly Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night. But Howard looked like his old self again on Saturday as Howard dominated and the Red Wings coasted to the shutout triumph.
