The New York Rangers have acquired Todd White from the Atlanta Thrashers in exchange for Donald Brashear and Patrick Rissmiller.
After recording a stunning 73 points in 82 games last season, he fell back to Earth with just 26 points in 65 contests in 2009-10. Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't count on White scoring more than 40-50 points next season. However, the Rangers don't have much depth at center, which might result in White playing alongside Marian Gaborik.
