Report: Bruins GM scouted Pens-Flyers

Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli was in Pittsburgh on Wednesday to scout the Flyers-Penguins game, sources told Joe Haggerty of CSN New England.
Haggerty reported that Chiarelli spent the second intermission in a discussion with Flyers GM Paul Holmgren. The Flyers are in desperate need of defensive depth, which the Bruins appear to have plenty of at the NHL and AHL levels. We're not reading too much into this, but it's clear that the trade winds are starting to pick up.
