Holtby nearly steals victory from Devils

Braden Holtby allowed three goals on 37 shots in a 3-2 defeat at the hands of New Jersey Thursday night.
The Capitals clung to a 2-1 lead midway through the third period until a parade of penalties gave the Devils five consecutive power plays, a barrage Holtby couldn't withstand. Michal Neuvirth isn't far off, but Holtby has still played well enough to hang on to the starting gig.
