Artem Anisimov was carried off the ice on a stretcher early in the second period of Tuesday's game against the Red Wings.
Anisimov appeared to lose his footing behind the Detroit goal at the same time as Kyle Quincey inadvertently fell on top of him and he lay motionless on the ice for several minutes afterwards. Thankfully, Anisimov was reportedly conscious as he was being lifted into an ambulance. We will continue to update his condition as news becomes available.
