"Honestly, during the game when it happened, I didn't think it was much," Giordano said. "Then, I heard about the hearing the next day and looked at it again. If you look at it, it is, I think, maybe a little bit of a dangerous play just because of the way the guy fell. I didn't intend to slew foot him . . . but I pull him down and he comes up close to the boards so I think the league wants to take that play out of the game." Nice for Giordano to own up to his indiscretion.
