Report: Yankees closing in on deal for Wood

The Yankees are closing in on a deal to land Kerry Wood, according to ESPN's Buster Olney.
There's no word on what the Yanks would give up, but Olney says the Indians would eat a lot of the money that's owed to the reliever. Wood has really struggled this year and was just activated from the disabled list today after dealing with a blister, but the stuff is still there and he would give the Yanks another option for the eighth inning. He also has playoff experience and isn't the type that would buckle under the pressure in New York.
