Buccaneers agreed to terms with No. 3 overall pick DT Gerald McCoy on a five-year, $63 million contract, including $35 million guaranteed.
Last year's third pick, Tyson Jackson, received $31 million guaranteed. McCoy will slide right into the starting lineup as a high-motor three-technique tackle next to second-round nose Brian Price. The two rookies are being counted on for a dramatic transformation in the Bucs run defense, which brought up the rear last season.
