Schneider stops 40 shots in shootout loss

Cory Schneider's 40 saves weren't enough as the Vancouver Canucks fell to the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday night.
All three goals on Schneider came in the second period in an otherwise flawless game. He kept the Canucks in it and didn't allow that crucial fourth goal. Unfortunately, he was beat twice in the shootout and dropped to 4-4-0 on the year. With both goalies playing well, fantasy owners shouldn't expect the platoon in the Canucks' net to end anytime soon.
