Brooks Laich hasn't skated for three days

Washington Capitals coach Adam Oates says Brooks Laich (groin) hasn't suffered a setback despite not practicing for the past three games.
Laich, who has yet to play this season, was cleared to begin practicing with contact last week, making it a bit curious that he hasn't been back on the ice since. We'll take Oates at his word for now, but we remain cautious about Laich's recovery. We'll let you know as soon as we hear more.
