Weiss won't pass the blame for poor start

Stephen Weiss doesn't want to use the trade rumors surrounding him as an excuse for his mediocre play.
"No, it's not something I think about," Weiss said. "I have a no-move clause anyway, so I can't get traded without the team coming to me first if they wanted to do that. But that definitely doesn't bother me." Weiss has four points and a minus-nine rating in 10 games this season. He also dealt with a groin injury earlier this season, but he doesn't want to blame that either. At any rate, he should get better as the campaign progresses.
