After a concussion shelved the Blackhawks' Dave Bolland for the stretch drive, the now-healthy center is eager to hit the ice.
Bolland's loss for the final quarter of last season was a blow to the Blackhawks. Not only was he productive with 15 goals in 61 games, but the pivot's energy and ability to grate upon the nerves of opponents was noticeably missing. Bolland did return during the postseason against Vancouver and was a major factor in Blackhawks' opening-round comeback in forcing a seventh game. Now, healthy and refreshed, the checking-line forward could bolster the back end of your cast of forwards.
