Craig Adams undergoes appendectomy

Craig Adams had successful laparoscopic appendectomy surgery on Friday.
He is expected to need four weeks of recovery time, which should make available when training camp opens. Adams notched 15 points and 76 penalty minutes in 80 games with the Penguins last campaign, so he shouldn't be on your fantasy radar but he does play a valuable role as a fourth-line player.
