Has Benoit Pouliot found a home with the Lightning?
A fourth-overall pick of the Wild in 2005, Pouliot has been a massive disappointment. He was traded to Montreal early in the 2009-10 season, then cut after a year and a half and signed with Boton, and the Lightning signed him to a one-year deal this offseason. Thus far, he has five goals and 10 points in 14 games, by far his best rate of production in the NHL. "I've had him in the American League and I thought there was something there and I seen him with the Canadians and I thought there was something there,'' said Tampa Bay head coach Guy Boucher, who was part of the Montreal organization in 2009-10. "And right now it's starting to pay off. I just hope it continues because he has a lot more to offer and I know it.''
