Flyers GM, coach not on the hot seat

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren and Peter Laviolette were given a vote of confidence Sunday by team president Peter Luuko.
There was some believe that the two were on the hot seat. "Absolutely not," said Luukko, president of the Flyers' parent company, Comcast-Spectacor. "We just need to be patient, and to even think the general manager or coach are in trouble [is false]. It's not an issue." The Flyers are disappointing with a 6-9-1 record, 2-8 on the road.
