David Jones has just one goal and two points in 11 games after inking a four-year/$16 million extension over the summer.
"As far as the contract, it's definitely in the back of my mind," Jones said. "I understand why people are frustrated. ... But I can't really let that bother me. More than the contract, I just want to win. And if I'm not producing, I'm not helping the team." Jones should bounce back and he should be monitored because he might be in line for a strong hot start. That being said, when the dust settles, he isn't likely to get more than 15-20 points this season.
