The Chicago Blackhawks are just one win or overtime loss away from matching an NHL record.
Chicago has earned at least one point in each of their first 15 games this season, putting their hot start just one game shy of the record set by the 2006-07 Anaheim Ducks. "What is it, 15 games into the season?" said Jonathan Toews. "What's important to us is getting home ice advantage, making the playoffs. Once you get there, the real season starts. When you get there, nobody remembers these streaks at the start of the season." Granted, but this is an indication of what the Hawks are capable of and they've given themselves a ton of breathing room in the playoff race.
