Jason Zucker scored a goal in his first NHL game this season, a 3-2 win by the Wild over Detroit Sunday evening.
Zucker was called up from Houston of the AHL where he had amassed 41 points in contests and promptly found the back of the net in his debut. The youngster played just over 11 minutes in the win and registered two shots on goal. Torrey Mitchell and Dany Heatley also scored in the win. Zucker played six games last season, after leaving Denver University where he had 22 goals and 46 points in 38 games.
