Meteor lands in Khudobin's hometown

Anton Khudobin grew up just a few miles from the city where a meteor landed early Friday morning causing damage and injuring close to a 1,000 people.
Khudobin was born and raised in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Khazahkstan, a few hundred miles from the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, where the meteor landed. "I heard the sound was pretty bad and some of the windows were blown out," said Khudobin, who had been in contact with a friend in his homeland. Luckily for the Bruin backup netminder, it does not appear any of his family was injured.
