Smith is projected to play alongside Derek Roy and Loui Eriksson. "I think it's an opportunity for (Smith), and it's up to him to see where he takes it," Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said. "There are some expectations moving up the lineup, and he has to produce. I don't think he has a point, so we'll give him and opportunity to play with two really good players and see what happens." As Gulutzan said, Smith doesn't have a point in 12 games. He's worth keeping an eye on, but we can't recommend picking him up in standard leagues.
