Buccaneers signed rookie NT Brian Price, the No. 35 overall pick to a four-year contract, including a $2.72 million signing bonus.
The Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year is the NFL's highest pick yet to sign. After finishing last in the league in run defense, the Bucs added nose tackle Price to first-round three-technique Gerald McCoy while revamping the defensive front four. Both players can get after the quarterback as well as stop the run. Price's main responsibility will be doing the latter.
