Randy Carlyle wasn't happy with his team's effort -- top to bottom -- against the Hurricanes on Thursday.
The Leafs' four-game winning streak was snapped with the 3-1 loss. "We were half a step behind all night," Carlyle said. "The level of hockey being played was no where near high enough from our standpoint." Even though Ben Scrivens had 30 saves, Carlyle didn't think he was all that sharp, either. "He mirrored the rest of our team in that no one played near to their potential whatsoever," Carlyle said.
