The Lightning have acquired Simon Gagne

The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired Simon Gagne from the Philadelphia Flyers for Matt Walker and a fourth round pick in the 2011 NHL entry draft.
With Gagne, the Lightning now have an explosive top-six that also includes the likes of Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis, Steven Stamkos, and Steve Downie. Gagne is a point-per-game player, but he's been hampered in recent years by injury. However, with his contract expiring at the end of the 2010-11 season, the Tampa Bay Lightning are taking on a minimal amount of risk.
