Dan Ellis stands tall in home win over Buds

Dan Ellis turned away 22 of 23 shots en route to a 3-1 victory over Toronto on Thursday night.
The backup netminder has a sparkling 3-1-0 record to go with strong peripherals in four starts this year, an indication that the Hurricanes can afford to give Cam Ward a rest once in a while without thinking they're giving the game away. He's a good handcuff to Ward in deeper leagues.
