Twins place Justin Morneau (concussion) on DL

Twins placed 1B Justin Morneau on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 8, with a concussion.
Morneau tried working out on an elliptical machine Thursday, but was still feeling some "fogginess." He suffered the concussion after taking a knee to the head while sliding into second base last Wednesday. It's a very tough blow for the Twins, who are quickly losing ground in the American League Central. Michael Cuddyer will fill in at first base until he is ready to go.
