Boston has been the NHL's top penalty kill team thus far.

The Bruins have expertly killed 43 of 46 opposing power plays for a 93.5 percent success rate after 11 games this campaign. The coaching staff likes to roll three sets of penalty killers up front with an emphasis on short shifts. Rich Peverley, Chris Kelly, Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Gregory Campbell, and Daniel Paille have performed well in this capacity.
