Jochen Hecht plays in 800th game

Jochen Hecht suited up in the 800th game of his career Tuesday night.
He is the 66th active NHL player to reach 800 games played and 580 of them came with Buffalo. Reaching the milestone has to feel good for the veteran forward given that his playing days were almost brought to an end because of concussion problems. Hecht has three assists and no goals in 14 games this campaign.
