St. Louis Blues coach Ken Hitchcock says Jaroslav Halak (groin) won't play until he practices fully.
That means Halak can't return until Friday's game against the Flames at the earliest, but that sounds a little soon for a groin injury. Renaud Lavoie reported earlier Tuesday that Halak would be sidelined for another week, but all Hitchcock would say is day-to-day. It sounds like owners have no choice but to wait this out. Check back after practice Thursday to see if Halak's groin has healed enough to play.
