Flyers sign Leighton to two-year deal

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Michael Leighton to a two-year, $3.1 million contract.

With Brian Boucher and Johan Backlund also signed for next season it would appear that the Flyers have their goaltending group decided with Leighton as the starter. Philadelphia reportedly acquired the negotiation rights for Evgeni Nabokov and Marty Turco, but nothing materialized.
