Senators have gone cold offensively
Paul MacLean - C - Ottawa Senators
Feb. 11, 2013 - 10:50 AM ET

The Ottawa Senators have scored just seven goals in their last five games.

Ottawa got off to a superb start offensively this season, but the loss of Jason Spezza might be taking it's toll. "It is what it is," captain Daniel Alfredsson said. "We weren't expected to score a lot of goals last year either and we found a way, and we're going to try and do the same thing this year." Ottawa still has a 6-4-2 record, so they haven't exactly dug a hole for themselves, but they need to find a way to get back on track soon or they will be on the outside looking in on the playoff race.
