Zambrano suspended indefinitely after tirade
June 25, 2010 - 7:45 PM ET

Carlos Zambrano was suspended indefinitely by the Cubs as a result of his outburst during Friday's game against the White Sox.

"His conduct was not acceptable," said Cubs general manager Jim Hendry. "It has become a bit of a tired act." Zambrano was sent home during the game by Cubs manager Lou Piniella after he confronted first baseman Derrek Lee in the dugout. Big Z apparently wasn't done. He reportedly launched into an insanity-filled tirade with some cameramen on the way out of the stadium. Don't worry, we'll be seeing it all very soon. As for seeing Zambrano in a Cubs' uni again? Who knows.
