Paul Martin running Pens' PP without Letang
Paul Martin - D - Pittsburgh Penguins
Feb. 9, 2013 - 1:00 PM ET

Paul Martin did a very nice job of running the Penguins's power play Thursday night.

He is subbing in for the injured Kris Letang but he looks very comfortable running the first unit as evidenced by the Pens' three power play goals against the Capitals Thursday night. "Paul was really good there tonight," Pittsburgh coach Dan Bylsma said. "He had Geno and Sid on each side of him and distributed the puck very well. It was the big difference in the game."Letang will resume quarterbacking the first unit when he returns from injury, but until then, Martin makes a solid pickup.
