The Vancouver Sun is "betting" that Cory Schneider will start in goal for the Canucks tonight when they confront the Calgary Flames.
It would be Schneider's second consecutive start. He was solid Thursday in a 4-1 victory over Minnesota, making 22 saves and lifting his record to 3-2-0 on the year. Roberto Luongo had been in goal for Vancouver in the team's previous matches. Just over two weeks ago, he earned his first win of the season against the Flames when he stopped 34 of 36 shots and four of five Calgary shooters in the shootout.
