Missed practice but, Zach Parise will play

Forward Zach Parise missed the Wild's practice because of illness on Friday but is expected to be ready to play when Minnesota meets the Nashville Predators tonight in St. Paul.
General manager Chuck Fletcher said Parise was not feeling well the past few days and the team decided to give him a day of rest to regain his strength. "Give the guy credit. He played incredibly hard (Thursday) night," Fletcher said. "There's no sense having him feel sick again." Despite being unwell, Parise had eight of the Wild's 23 shots on goal in a 4-1 home loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.
