Callahan shows no ill effects from injury
Ryan Callahan - W - New York Rangers
Feb. 8, 2013 - 10:25 AM ET

Ryan Callahan was back to his old self Thursday after not playing since Jan. 29 because of a shoulder sublaxation.

The Rangers captain played 19:22, with four hits and two blocked shots and was all over the ice in the win. "[Returning Thursday] was something I was trying to work towards," said Callahan, who played 6:28 on the penalty kill. "I think it's good to have an early goal. I think I progressed a little bit quicker than they thought."
