Stars' struggles might give them an edge

The Dallas Stars are just 5-5-1 this season, but their early challenging might be what the team needed.
"There's an edge now," Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said. "There's an edge for the older guys because they're getting pushed by the younger guys, and there's an edge for the younger guys because they want to stay in the lineup." Dallas is looking to get back into the playoffs for the first time since 2007-08. They have the pieces to compete, but also more than their fair share of question marks.
