Florida GM dismisses Weiss trade rumors

Florida GM Dale Tallon isn't interested in moving top center Stephen Weiss.
19 NHL scouts were said to be in attendance for Sunday's contest versus Buffalo and it led to speculation about Weiss' future with the team since he is slated to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year. Tallon shot down any trade talks occurring when he said, "That's ridiculous. We're trying to re-sign him." Weiss is off to a slow start this season with two assists in four appearances.
