Rookie Mikael Granlund is struggling with the Wild.
Granlund has only two assists in his last seven games after scoring in his NHL debut. Granlund has been poor defensively and is not strong enough physically to play in the NHL at this time. He has been demoted to the fourth line and there is a possibility that he will be a healthy scratch Monday. "He's a young kid and we have to give him a fair chance, but at the same time, there has to be a little more on his side," coach Mike Yeo said. "We'll do everything we can to help him grow through the whole process of it. I'd definitely like to see him bring a real hungry attitude to the next game." It may be a good time to buy low in keeper leagues.
