The Tuukka Rask-era in Boston has gotten off to a promising start.
For the most part, Bruins fans haven't missed the presence of two-time Vezina Trophy winning goaltender Tim Thomas. Rask has stepped up in his first season as the undisputed number one goaltender with a 2.10 GAA and .919 save percentage in seven starts. Just as encouraging is the fact that he bounced back from his first brutal start of the season by recording a 21-save shutout against Toronto on Saturday. The season is still young, but the Bruins have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Rask.
