Eric Staal leads the Carolina Hurricanes with six goals in this 48-game shortened season.
Staal enjoyed a successful second half of 2011-12 after a sluggish start which helped him reach the 70-point plateau for a seventh straight season. The Carolina captain was a solid bet for a bounce back season and now has a point in five straight games -- nine total in that span.
