Daniel Briere gets first goal of the year

Daniel Briere potted his first goal of the season in the Flyers' 5-3 win over the Hurricanes Saturday.
It was a great game for Briere who missed the first four games of the season with a hairline fracture of the left wrist. "We need some more presence in front of the net, trying to find some loose pucks and getting to the gritty areas," Briere said. The diminutive forward also registered an assist in the contest.
