Nail Yakupov gets an assist Thursday

Nail Yakupov has recorded a point in five of his last six games.
Yakupov had his first NHL assist on Thursday and now has five points in seven contests this season. Vladimir Tarasenko and Cory Conacher have gotten off to hot starts and consequently left all other rookies in the dust in the short term, but Yakupov should be a serious contender to win the rookie scoring race this season.
