Oilers demote Magnus Paajarvi to minors

The Oilers have demoted Magnus Paajarvi to the minors.
With Shawn Horcoff (neck) injured, Edmonton made the decision to bring up Anton Lander and send down Paajarvi. The 10th overall pick in the 2009 draft had been averaging just over 10 minutes of ice time after five games as a member of the Oilers. He didn't record a point and had a minus-3 rating. Paajarvi is only 21 years of age but right now it's hard to envision him making any kind of impact in Edmonton.
