Johan Hedberg shines despite losing effort

Johan Hedberg stopped 27 of the Bruins' 28 shots Tuesday, but was saddled with a 2-1 shootout defeat.
In his first start of the season, the diminutive goalkeeper was exceptional, as he almost helped hand the Bruins their first regulation loss of the campaign. With both Hedberg and Martin Brodeur looking sharp, it's clear the New Jersey system is once again conducive to strong defensive play.
