The Chicago Blackhawks are happy with the play of Andrew Shaw as their third line center.
And why not as the Blackhawks are off to a 6-0 start. Shaw got a lot of experience as a third liner when he played for Rockford during the lockout. "Defensively, he's learning his own end ' down low in particular," coach Joel Quenneville said. "He can continue to improve, be it his positioning or awareness. His instincts with the puck and around the puck are really good. We should see some growth in his game." Shaw has yet to get a point this season and with only one minor and an even plus/minus rating, we would pass on him in fantasy pools.
