Roman Cervenka was activated from the IL and played for the Flames in a 4-3 win over Edmonton Saturday.
The game was Cervenka's first in the NHL, as he had been sidelined with a blood clot until this point. While he didn't record a point, the former KHL standout fired two shots on goal and played significant minutes for the Flames. The simultaneous returns of both he and Jiri Hudler give Calgary scoring depth they have yet to enjoy this season.
