Matt Read records hat trick in 7-1 rout

Matt Read had a hat trick as the Flyers routed the Panthers on Saturday night 7-1.
After scoring 24 times last year, Read found the twine for the first time in a big way in this win. Wayne Simmonds also had a goal, while Ruslan Fedotenko, Tye McGinn, who potted his first NHL goal, and Luke Schenn all scored and assisted. Braden Coburn and Claude Giroux also had two assists apiece.
