James Reimer and Ben Scrivens are able to draw from his experiences as a player, a career that saw him play with the Flyers and Leafs. That's important for two inexperienced netminders. "It's always great to have a sounding board," Scrivens said. "What makes Rick a little bit unique for us is he played in this market. He knows about the outside noise. It's just a great way of talking to someone who's been through it before. He's had bad games, he's had great games before, and we're trying to soak up as much thought from him and his learning experiences, and hopefully we can learn from him without having to learn it ourselves the hard way."
