Jiri Hudler practiced with Calgary on Thursday for the first time since his father's funeral.
Hudler left the team to spend some time with his family in the Czech Republic following his father's death. "I didn't skate once there, I didn't have time," said Hudler. "But, I feel a lot better than I did when I was leaving from training camp." It's not clear if he'll play on Saturday or if the Flames will give him more time to work on his conditioning before making his season debut.
