Ducks have killed just 42.9% of penalties

The Anaheim Ducks have killed just 42.9% of their opposition's power-play opportunities so far this season.

The team has done far better in five-on-five play and they have won their first two contests as a result. Still, this is one area they need to get far better at as the season goes on. "I think we need to communicate a little bit more," Cam Fowler said. "For us, I think it's important to get up the ice and cover our gaps a little better. We've been giving up too much time and space. When you do that in this league you can get burned." The Ducks will face the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators in back-to-back contests on Friday and Saturday.
